National Safeguarding Week 2019
Monday 11th – Friday 15th November
National Safeguarding Week is an annual event held in November. The aim of the week is to raise awareness about safeguarding issues and to reinforce the message that ‘safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility’.
This year’s National theme will focus on the launch of the Wales Safeguarding Procedures. However, the Cardiff and Vale Safeguarding Boards will also be highlighting two local themes around:
- Domestic Abuse (and its various forms).
- Exploitation (including knife crime, gang cultures etc).
The Final Programme of Events provides details of the activities taking place during National Safeguarding Week and how you can book a place.
